Charities

As medical professionals, we are in the unique position of being able to help our communities and identify where additional support may be needed. The primary need of some charities is not financial, and we volunteer our time and expertise.

Here is an update of some of our activities:

  • As part of our ongoing commitment to New Hope Foundation China, Dr Fuong provides medical assistance for children who are sent down from Beijing to HK for surgery. For more details, please go to: www.hopefosterhome.com
  • Dr Fuong is also on the medical board of the Hong Kong based Medart’s China Orphanage Outreach program – www.medart.org.hk/web/main.php
  • Dr Fuong is a Governor on the board of The Independent Schools Foundation (ISF). Established in 2000, it is a registered charitable organization which responds to a pressing educational need in Hong Kong to provide diversity in choice of education for local students.
