Clinic Procedure for Typhoons + Rainstorm Warnings

We are fast approaching Typhoon season, and have recently experienced some black and red rain warnings. Please note our clinic policy as we are generally unable to contact our patients on these occasions:

Typhoon Signal 1 and 3

Our clinics will be open.

Typhoon Signal 8 or above

If hoisted 2 hours before our clinic is due to open, we will remain closed. If the signal is lowered before 1 o’clock in the afternoon, our staff will return to open the clinic.

If signal 8 is hoisted during clinic hours, we will release our staff to begin their journey home. Under these circumstances, it would be best if you call the clinic first before leaving home.

Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning

Our clinics will be open.

Black Rain Storm Warning

Should the warning be issued prior to clinic opening time, we will remain closed. If the signal is lowered before 1 o’clock, we will re-open (except on Saturday). Under these circumstances, it would be best if you call the clinic first before leaving home.
