Aviation Medicals
Pilots are required to pass comprehensive annual medical examination. An Aircrew License can only be renewed once a medical has been successfully passed.
In Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) issues all medicals for Hong Kong Aircrew Licenses. Relevant local regulatory bodies will issue medical certificates for licenses held in other countries, ie CASA for Australia, FAA for USA etc.
We are able to offer Annual Medical Examinations at both Central Health Medical Practice, and Island Health Family Practice.
Dr Kwan at Central Health Medical Practice is an approved medical examiner by CASA in Australia and the Hong Kong CAD. Hence, he is able to conduct Hong Kong and Australian aircrew medicals.
Dr Oliver at Island Health Family Practice is an approved Medical examiner by CASA, EASA, FAA and Transport Canada. He can conduct medicals for: AUSTRALIA, AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, BULGARIA, CANADA, CROATIA, CYPRUS, CZECH REPUBLIC, DENMARK, ESTONIA, FINLAND, FRANCE, GERMANY, GREECE, HUNGARY, ICELAND, IRELAND, ITALY, LATVIA, LIECHTENSTEIN, LITHUANIA, LUXEMBOURG, MALTA, NORWAY, POLAND, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, SLOVAK REPUBLIC, SLOVENIA, SPAIN, SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND, THE NETHERLANDS, UNITED KINGDOM, USA.
