Postnatal Midwife visit
We are here to help support you in the transition from hospital to home, and believe that every new or expanding family can benefit from the advice and reassurance offered by our midwives in the comfort of your own home.
Our Midwives are registered in Hong Kong and oversea and have the full support of our obstetricians and
paediatricians.
Each visit typically provides support for the following:
- Postnatal assessment including wound checks
- Emotional support
- Baby weight check and monitoring
- Breast feeding assessment
- Latch and positioning
- Follow-up phone consultation
Lactation Consultations
Specialist breast feeding support and problem solving provided by our registered lactation consultant (IBCLC) either at home or in clinic.
Each visit typically includes:
- Breast feeding assessment
- Trouble shooting
- Latch and positioning guidance
- Advice on establishing a good supply
- Expressing advice
- Cord care
- Baby weight check
- Jaundice monitoring
First Visit 90 minutes – HK$ 1,800
Subsequent One Hour Visits – HK$ 1,500
Extended Travel and Out of Office Hour Costs per visit
Home visits scheduled 8am or before and 6pm onwards Monday –
Saturday will incur an additional HK$500 fee
Home visits to Repulse Bay, Deep Water Bay, Stanley, Tseung Kwan O,
and Kowloon will incur an additional HK$ 300
Home visits to New territories, Sha Tin, Sai Kung, South Lantau, and
Gold Coast will incur an additional HK$ 500
