Both have lived and worked as therapists in Hong Kong and now practice in the UK. Dr Naila Aslam – General Practitioner, Central Health London Dr Aslam will provide guidance on healthcare considerations before and after arrival in the UK, including accessing healthcare services, health checks and ongoing medical support. Student Perspectives We are also delighted to be joined by two students who have made the move from Hong Kong to the UK: Justin relocated from Hong Kong to attend boarding school in the UK and is now in his second year of University. He will discuss settling into a new school environment, making friends, adapting to boarding life and what he found most helpful during the transition. Alexander attended school in Hong Kong, before moving to the UK for university. Alexander will discuss managing the transition to university in the UK and what he wishes he and his parents had known. Together, our experts will offer honest reflections and practical advice from a multi-disciplinary perspective. How Central Health Hong Kong and London Can Support Your Family The event will also introduce our dedicated Student Support Service, created specifically for families relocating to the UK from overseas. Our team of GPs, paediatricians, psychologists and counsellors provide coordinated support before departure and throughout a student’s time in the UK.
